On October 17th, 113th Year, the senior students of the Department of Physical Education at National University of Tainan organized a vibrant and joyful welcome event for the first-year students.
This event was specifically designed for freshmen who are new to university life, helping them quickly adapt to the new environment, meet new classmates, and gain a deeper understanding of the school culture.
The welcome event is an important part of the beginning of university life, providing an opportunity for freshmen to get to know each other and interact with seniors. Through carefully arranged games and discussions, freshmen were able to connect with each other in a relaxed atmosphere, establishing initial friendships.
The event was rich and diverse, including the following main activities:
-
Group Games
To break the ice and ease the awkwardness of first meetings, various ice-breaking games and team competitions were designed. Activities like “Name Relay,” “Pictionary,” and “Cooperative Challenge” not only tested the students’ teamwork and communication skills but also allowed everyone to build connections through laughter. -
Group Discussions
After the games, the freshmen were divided into small groups to further get to know each other through discussions. They shared their expectations and concerns about university life. The seniors also took this opportunity to share their personal experiences, helping the freshmen gain a clearer understanding of their learning and life for the next four years.
The welcome event received enthusiastic feedback from the freshmen, helping them integrate into university life more quickly and making them excited for the learning journey ahead. Through such activities, it is hoped that every freshman can smoothly adapt to university life and create wonderful memories in the years to come!
